  • The elographics driver works in many different touchscreens, and is available in Fedora repos.
  • The calibration could be solved by run in a terminal the touchcal tool, packed in an rpm with the same name.
  • Once the calibration is done, the tool will display on terminal the Max and Min values for x and y.

In the other hand, the eGalax driver, is not a standard driver from Fedora repos, but the rpm in Bashlinux repo can be installed in order to provide to provide the driver and the calibration tool, tool which is able to save the calibration results into the EEPROM embedded in the touchscreen.

How to install eGalax rpm driver

All monitors detected as eGalax, TouchKit or Promac with a serial port interface must be supported. USB driver is also included on RPM but requires extra configuration in order to enable USB support.

# yum -y install xorg-x11-drv-egalax
