Install MuseScore
Linux Fedora You can get it from the repository
# yum -y install mscore
Mac/Windows Get to binaries from http://musescore.org
Installing plugins
- Go to the plugin download page from http://musescore.org/en/plugins
- Unzip the plugin and move it to the proper location according to your OS. Ensure that the content of the zip file is placed in a directory with the same name as the plugin.
Linux
~/.local/share/data/MusE/MuseScore/plugins/MY_PLUGIN
Mac
~/Library/Application Support/MusE/MuseScore/plugins/MY_PLUGIN
Windows
%ProgramFiles(x86)%\MuseScore\Plugins\MY_PLUGIN
- Once the plugin is in place (re)start MuseScore and enable the plugin at
Menu -> Edit -> Preferences -> Plugins
- Restart MuseScore and this time the plugin can be used from "Plugins" menu
